New Activity Book! & Stickers Too | July 18 2026

After putting together the Ghost Dice zine, I realized that it would also be fun together something more activity-oriented for people to engage with at the fest. So, there is a new Activity Zine out, with coloring pages, puzzles, and other little treats. I also got new glowing stickers to leave at the various tables too. Hope people like 'em!

Ghost Dice in the Wild | July 15 2026

Today I was hit by the Productivity Bug (thanks wildfire smoke for keeping me and my sick lungs stuck inside), so I decided on a whim to create both a full zine and mini-zine of Ghost Dice for the festival I'm going to next week! I was originally going to just print the full zines, but after making a handful I realized that no one will have the ability to actually use the zine at the fest since it requires building a reading box. I had to make a new reading box for pictures for the zine, and I realized while doing it that making a pile of boxes on top of everything else I have to do was unrealistic. So, I made a mini-zine that uses just a single dice so people can get quick readings, with a link on the back to the full thing of course. Outside of this site and immediate friends I haven't shown this system off yet, so this will be the first time anyone but me tries it out. Will people like it? Will people roll their eyes and toss it away? Will it get totally ignored? Time will tell...

If you want to see the updated zine, it's live on the Misc page!

June Goal Complete! | June 30 2026

I haven't posted about this at all yet, but my art goal for June was to finish drawing all of the sketches for my upcoming card game. A decade ago I made my first fully printed and marketed card game, Now Everyone Get The F%$# Out!. It was such a fun experience for me to bring a game from start to finish entirely by myself and go around to cons showing it off. Now, ten years later, I've found myself thinking about F%$# Out and the two main issues I had with it: the art (passable, but not wow-ing) and the audience (college kids, who as a group tend to not have much spending money). In the time between then and now, my art has changed drastically, and I've found a deep love of music festivals as a form of community. All of this combined got me thinking about what I would do if I redid F%$# Out, and I've decided, fuck it, let's go for it! It's now a festival themed game instead of a college one, with my new inkwork style instead of doodle-esque images. There'll be other changes too, but it's still very much a WIP. Still, it feels really good to have gotten through all the sketches this month!

Have fun scrolling through all these sketches. If you want to see the full size, open the image in a new tab.

Lots of website progress | June 28 2026

After setting up the skeleton of this site the other day, I finally had the time to sit down and put at least some content on all of the planned pages. It's not much, but it's so exciting to see it coming together! The next few days are gonna be focused on finishing the sketches for my card game before the month's up, but I'm looking forward to posting all that on here and doing more website design ^_^

Exploring Sensuality | June 26 2026

After my realization that I didn't have to worry about any content filters or other censorship while making my own art, I decided to do a more sensually attuned piece. Didn't have much of a plan besides the basic body twisting concept when I started, and it was fun to meander through the ideas until a more cohesive concept came through!

Finally Inking Again | June 21 2026

After so long not making inkworks, it felt really good to get one out! (Even if it's technically the wrong side getting jabbed based on my personal pains ^^') It was also refreshing to have some artistic nudity; I realized while sketching that I would be posting to my own site (here), and didn't need to worry about having my post removed or anything like that. What a wonderful thing, being able to post some more adult leaning content as an adult!

Making a website! | June 21 2026

The Internet isn't fun anymore. Going on the computer used to be fun! Why did it all have to go this way? Ugh. I've barely been using social media after the boon of AI, and it's really made me miss the websites of old. I loved the culture around making your own spaces and showing off whatever you want on it, just your own corner of land in the digital landscape. It's the internet that I experienced for a brief time as a kid, and it's a time I look fondly back on. So, I can't say I was surprised when I discovered Neocities and the general "retronet" push from a crowd of people who feel the same way I do. So, I'm dusting off the html skills I learned making Neopets petpages in the 2000s to set up a site of my own! What will it be? Let's find out...
